Sunday’s a good day to remember what we’ve been grateful for over the past week, don’t you think? I’m joining Taryn over at Wooly Moss Roots in her Gratitude Sunday tradition, and here’s my list:

– A break in the heat finally!!

– Coming into my favorite season of all, Autumn.

– Backing up photos and finally deleting my camera cards — there were photos on there from last November! It feels great to have gotten that project accomplished.

– The abundance of fruits & vegetables at this time of year. It’s all I’ve been craving & eating.

– The impossibly delicious Colorado peaches I’ve been getting from the farmer’s market.

– Being at my garden during an incredible rainstorm.

– Being at my garden, period. I was needing a major change of venue this week, and it felt great to go hang out there a couple times, knowing beforehand that I was going to refrain from doing any work in it.

– Genuine, hysterical laughter!

– Save for a morning meeting, not having to be anywhere other than home this week, and having the time to rest my poor body. I’m just so sick…and have been getting sicker…but they’re not sure what it is yet.

– Feeling more emotionally whole this weekend, after a week of feeling profoundly broken, empty, desolate, drained, and hopeless — both in a physical and emotional sense.

– My Hubby and my family and my cat, for keeping me upright with their support and love and laughs!

– The color of the sky, right this minute as I write this…

– Harvesting 12 lbs of gorgeous wild grapes this week!! And starting on the process of making them into grape freezer jam & maybe even fruit leather.

– The most incredible wild grape smell filling our whole house, from the two bubbling pots on the stove right now!

– Working on a mandala, which I haven’t done for a while. I’m not that artistically inclined in the way of drawing or painting, but mandalas…I just love creating those.

– A cup of fresh mint tea, savored in my garden.

– Eating Gazpacho made from garden stuff!!

– A cleansing rainstorm.

– Writing my gratitudes each day in my journal, and each Sunday here… and reading other peoples’ gratitudes too.
