Welcome to my Recipes page!
For a little background…I strive to cook with fresh, organic fruits & vegetables, soaked whole grains & legumes, cultured & fermented foods, grass-fed meat & dairy, pastured eggs, wild-caught fish, unrefined sweeteners (rapadura/sucanat, honey, maple syrup, molasses), and traditional fats (yes to butter, olive oil, virgin coconut oil, bacon grease, lard) — no to refined vegetable oils like canola oil, soybean oil, etc, and definitely no to partially hydrogenated oils).
I was a vegetarian for 10 years, but now I appreciate that humanely raised grass-fed meat is better for my body (and taste buds!) than fake, highly processed soy “meat.” In fact now I pretty much avoid soy altogether. And although you’ll find meat in some of my recipes, I’m not a huge meat eater anyway, and my recipes tend to be on the lighter side.
Anyway, the recipes listed here are family favorites which we’ve made and enjoyed again and again. I hope you enjoy them too!
