Kitchen / Garden / Sanctuary - Urban Homesteading to Nourish Body + Spirit

Snow Days

More snow came Tuesday night and all day Wednesday. How cozy! I’ve been hanging extremely low, having overdone it way too much recently. I seem to be able to borrow energy and push my body further than it wants to go (thanks to my youth, maybe, and I’m thankful for that…), but eventually it really catches up with me and I feel extra awful. I slept 18 hours, waking up today to sunshine pouring through the windows. It’s beautiful. The air is still cold though, so I’m staying warm here inside…

And what are you up to today?

Storm's rolling in...

Night snow

The next morning

Snowfall through the windows

And today...sunshine!

Today, (Friday Nov. 4th) We finally have some colder weather. Rain! Yay! It won’t last long, tomorrow is supposed to be sunny again, but I love the autumn smell of the air and the sound of the rain. It revives me and soothes my soul. I’m glad that all of your tests have come out well, Lindsey. I think about you every day and continue to send you healing energy. I love your photos of the snow and the sunlight through your windows highlighting your plants and that cute little zebra plushie. 🙂

    Hi Deb!
Rain and cloudy weather is soothing to my soul, too.
Thank you for sending healing energy; I need it. Thank you for your comments today…they brightened my rather melancholy day. I’ve been meaning to write to you for many many days now, and it just hasn’t happened. It will…
Thinking about you lots & sending love,
    Lindsey
(you like our zebra?! he’s so cute!!!)
